Acne is a skin disease characterized by the plugging of the pores with sebum. It can occur especially in the face, chest, neck, back, shoulders and upper arms. Acne can affect people from the ages of 10 through 50 and can appear as plugged pores, (white heads and black heads), pimples, pustules and cysts.
