Prostate gland found only in men located directly under the bladder, in front of the rectum that surrounds the first part of urethra. The main function of prostate gland is to store and secrete a clear fluid that constitutes up to one-third of the volume of semen. The prostate gland remains small until puberty but after that starting to grow till the age 20. Prostate usually after age 40 starts to enlarge again and causes problem.

Prostatitis is inflammation of the prostate gland. There are two kind of prostatitis, i.e. acute and chronic bacterial prostatitis, are treated with antibiotic.
